Hi All,

Just some advanced notice, that 'JB' will be going off this coming Saturday (1st Nov) and subject to any unforseen problems, will be back on either Saturday evening or as is more likely, on Sunday.

The reason for the temporary closure is to install some additional facilities *filtered*ociated with the repeater control system.

There will be NO impact to the operational characteristics as far as users are concerned. The changes are with respect to control capabilities.

Unfortunately, this upgrade cannot be implemented, on-site.

Clem and Dave hope to not cause any inconvenience for longer than is necessary.

Hi All,

'JB' went off air this morning (1st November) - at approx., 10:00 am

As previously advised, this is so that various changes / upgrades can be made to the control system.

The repeater should be back on air tomorrow, subject to any unforeseen problems.

Hi All,

'JB' was put back on air at approx., 10:15 am this morning, having been off air for just over 24 hours so that the controller upgrades could be installed and tested.

Stations using 'JB' will NOT notice any differences what so ever in the operational functionality.
